After 8½ months in three different hospitals following my husband’s catastrophic bicycle accident, he was able to return home; however, doing so required a capable, trustworthy care team to manage the transition and daily care he required. He had suffered a severe brain injury and was a quadriplegic, requiring 24/7 care.
From the beginning, they treated my husband (and me!) with compassion, dignity, patience, and genuine kindness. Gerald ensured there was a 4-person team trained and available at all times, allowing me to maintain my full-time job. Dependable, caring, qualified professionals, willing to go above and beyond when needed. This team helped make the transition home possible. Their care made an immeasurable difference in our lives, and I will always be grateful for the kindness and dedication they showed my husband, me, our family, friends, and our extended community. Gerald has assigned 4 caregivers to me, covering different days of the week, and they all are caring and competent. Whatever I cannot do for myself, including reaching my feet and lower legs, donning and doffing compression stockings, lifting or carrying, standing and walking without a walker, running a load of laundry, etc, they happily do for me. The companionship they provide is also very important to me. I’m pleased with their work. They are good people. One of our standing jokes is that we will still be doing it 10 years from now.

Our elderly uncle was in need of 24 hour care. We found Gerald and his group and made an appointment to meet them. There were three of us family members, and we all immediately loved Gerald‘s team and Gerald. They provided excellent and loving 24 hour care for our uncle. He could get a little cranky, but they were extremely patient with him and attended to his every need. If I ever need personal home care there is no doubt in my mind that these would be the people I would hire!

Mike has been with us caring for me after I suffered a stroke 3 years ago. My right side was completly paralyzed. My right leg, arm and hand were completely paralyzed. In the beginning, Mike drove us to therapy sessions and doctor appts. He now showers me, provides assistance with my daily excercies to strengthen my right side and helps my wife with completeing small errands.
